Requirements:
- Must be board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine or true board eligible.
- SC licensed with an active DEA and SCDHEC controlled substance license.
- ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
Practice Environment:
- Average census is 43.
- Hospitalists do not see patients below the age of 18.
- Hospitalist covers ICU with teleICU coverage.
- Single coverage with a maximum of 10 admits per night; anything after 10 floats to the day doctor.
- Must be able to perform intubations, para/thoracentesis, c-lines, and handle stroke alerts and medical alerts.
